What are you going to do?
As Assistant Store Manager, you'll be partly responsible for the store's daily operations. You'll be the point of contact for customers and colleagues, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

  • You carry out all general work in the store and coordinate this where necessary
  • You manage the store team, support colleagues and take responsibility in the absence of the manager
  • You proactively think about improvements in the store and take initiative to enhance the customer experience
  • You advise customers enthusiastically and expertly, find out their wishes and respond optimally to them
  • You contribute to good store performance and help achieve objectives
  • You (jointly) manage the stock and ensure that the store is well stocked and remains organized.
  • You and the team ensure a tidy shop and high quality service every day.


What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who:

  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in retail, preferably in a store with an experience (such as cooking, home or specialty stores)
  • Has completed a vocational education (MBO)
  • Dares to take responsibility and can work independently
  • Customer-oriented and results-oriented, with a proactive attitude
  • Is enthusiastic, a real go-getter and has an eye for detail
  • Flexible availability, also during weekends (including Saturdays)
  • Handles changes well, has clear structures and works with objectives
  • Preferably lives in (the vicinity of) Apeldoorn
